Lately I’ve been diving deep into some exciting projects that blend artificial intelligence, machine learning, and creative tools for the web. It’s been a fun mix of technical challenges and design work, all aimed at making things smarter, faster, and more usable.
AI and Machine Learning for Scoring
One of the big themes of my recent work has been AI applied to scoring. I’ve been experimenting with how machine learning models can be used to interpret source data, evaluate it against requirements, and generate meaningful scores. This type of work requires not only building the scoring logic, but also tuning it so that it feels accurate and useful for real-world scenarios.
While I can’t go into specifics about the project itself, I can say that it’s been incredibly rewarding to watch AI take what would otherwise be a manual, time-consuming process and turn it into something streamlined and automated. The hardest part is finding the balance between precision and flexibility—ensuring that the system remains fair, consistent, and fast.
Website Work
Outside of AI, I’ve also been improving some of the creative tools on my website:
- Battlefront Valkyrie Inventory Manager – A tool designed to track and manage in-game assets with a focus on clarity and speed.
- Fleet Builder – A streamlined single-page application for building and organizing starship fleets. I’ve been making incremental updates here, always aiming for reliability and a smooth user experience.
These projects give me a great balance: the AI work challenges me to think about algorithms, data, and scoring logic, while the web projects let me focus on design, usability, and creative expression.
That’s where things stand right now: a combination of AI experimentation and web-based creative tools. Both tracks feed into each other—lessons from one area inspire ideas in the other—and that’s what makes working on these projects so satisfying.
