33 Years Later, My Artwork Comes to Life

Surrealist painting of a Bug man.

Back in the early 90’s, during my more “experimental” years, I drew a lot of pictures. I was inspired by Salvador Dali and other surrealist artists. I’ve kept one of those drawings all these years, even though I never got to finish it. It stayed in my possession as a kind of albatross, because it wasn’t good enough to hang on the walls. I never was able to finish the painting to replace it…until now.

As you can see, it’s very rough and unfinished.

After waiting 33 years, technology has finally caught up with me and I have been able to realize my vision for the painting. I have been able to combine all my digital tools and create the exact version that I’ve had in mind for decades. Here is the result of my efforts:

I am excited to be able to finally see my drawing the way I intended it to be all those years ago. I just ordered a 18″x24″ poster of this artwork. I can’t wait to get this on the wall in my studio.
