pserkit is the focused sonic output of Creative Technologist Michael Earls.
For three decades, I explored music under the moniker cerkit, treating my studio as a laboratory for chaotic, beautiful experiments. But in 2026, marking the 30th anniversary of that journey, I felt the need for a “creative reset.”
pserkit is the result of that clarity. It is a project dedicated to intentionality—moving away from pure abstraction and toward structured, melodic, and rhythmic storytelling. Here, you will find music built on the foundations of Berlin School sequencing and the emotional depth of ambient soundscapes.
Signal in the Dark (Feb 2026)
Years in the making, this track evolved alongside my own reality. It blends deep, synthetic textures with a narrative of emergence. From the initial “whisper” in the silence to the final “peace,” Signal in the Dark represents the resilience found when we finally face the fall.

Symbiotic Metamorphosis (Jan 2026)
This track represents the first step of a new journey. Composed during a season of deep introspection, it captures the sonic feeling of emerging from a “burning brain” state into a place of clarity and light. It blends the driving rhythm of psybient with the lush, expansive textures of my ambient roots.
