This guide explains how to use the Battlefront Valkyrie™ Inventory Manager to manage your fleet of ships, print rosters, and export them for use in the Fleet Builder.

📖 Overview

The Inventory Manager allows you to:

Browse the full ship catalog
Filter ships by Faction
Search by Code or Name
Add ships to your personal inventory
Adjust ship quantities
Export your inventory in multiple formats
Print faction-filtered fleet lists
Use handy keyboard shortcuts for quick actions
Access related guides directly from the toolbar

🚀 Catalog

Use the Faction dropdown to filter ships (e.g., Terran, Neutral).
Use the Search box to quickly find ships by code or name.
Each ship card shows:
Faction
Code
Name
Points
Buttons for:
+ Add → adds one unit to your inventory
Buy → links to purchase (if available)

Toolbar Links

At the top of the Catalog you’ll find helpful buttons:

Reload Catalog → Refreshes the ship list from `SHIPS.json`.
Open User Guide → Opens this documentation page.
Guide to printing FDM miniatures → Opens an external reference from Fat Dragon Games.

📦 Inventory

Ships you add appear in the Inventory table.
Use the Faction filter or Search box to narrow down your list.
Each row includes:
Faction
Code
Name
Points
Quantity controls (increase/decrease)
Subtotal
Actions (Buy, Remove)

Totals

At the bottom you’ll see summary cards showing:

Total Ships
Unique Types
Total Points
Faction Breakdown

🛠️ Actions

Export Inventory (JSON) → Saves a JSON file with your inventory (Ctrl+S / ⌘+S).
Import Inventory (JSON) → Load a previously saved inventory.
Export CSV → Save as CSV, grouped by faction with subtotals and grand total (Ctrl+Shift+S / ⌘+Shift+S).
Print → Generate a print-ready inventory (Ctrl+P / ⌘+P).
Use the Print Faction dropdown to print all ships or only one faction.
Export Selected → Fleet Builder → Export only selected ships for use in the Fleet Builder (Ctrl+G / ⌘+G).
Clear Inventory → Remove all ships from your list.

⌨️ Keyboard Shortcuts

Ctrl+S / ⌘+S → Export JSON
Ctrl+Shift+S / ⌘+Shift+S → Export CSV
Ctrl+P / ⌘+P → Print Inventory
Ctrl+G / ⌘+G → Export Selected Ships

These work anywhere in the app, even if a field is focused.
