Goodbye Facebook (for real this time)

About three months ago, I posted about how I was addicted to using Facebook. I haven't logged into Facebook for over three months and it has been wonderful. I am no longer stressed out about the silly little things that used to drive me crazy.

I guess the latest issues facing Facebook have made me decide to just go ahead and delete my account. So, in 14 days, all signs of my presence will be wiped away from Facebook after many years of addiction.

It's been nice occupying my time studying new technology or just reading books in my spare time. There is an opportunity cost of not being able to contact my long-distance friends and relatives, but hopefully I can find a way to get in contact with them.

In the end, this is the best decision for my mental health and sanity.
